Tour Plan
Day 1
Arrive Banranayake International Airport and
transfer to Negombo in the west coast of the
country. Overnight stay in the hotel and relax at
the edge of the Indian Ocean.
Day 2
Explore Negombo- a town where affectionately called
as Little Rome of Sri Lanka! It is a lovely coastal
town that consists some of the country’s old
churches, sandy beaches and fresh seafood which you
might not want to miss. The pristine stretch of
beach is wide, running undisturbed for quite a long
distance. It is a perfect place to hang around
during the day, sunbathing or spend a laidback
evening while looking at sailing boats that are
ready to go under the sunset glow.
Day 3
Check out from the hotel after a lovely breakfast
and proceed to Kandy. After completing check-in
formalities, relax at the hotel. Later, you will
visit Temple of Tooth Relic which is situated
adjacent to the royal palace of former Kingdom of
Kandy. Then proceed to witness a beautiful
traditional Kandyan dance in the evening. Overnight
stay at Kandy. Optional excursion: Visit Botanical
Gardens (USD 12.00 per person)
Day 4
Today, you will transfer to Trincomalee. Enjoy the
rest of the day by the beach.
Day 5
Start your day by watching a beautiful sunrise over
the Trincomalee beaches. Besides enjoying the
powdery beaches, you can go for snorkeling to
explore what is beneath (USD 20.00 per person). The city itself possesses a distinctive charm
with quiet backstreets, colonial villas dotted with
mosques, colourful Hindu temples and cuisine which
blends with Indian flavor.
Day 6
Relax at the beach. Enjoy a marine mammal watching
excursion where you would be able to see many types
of Dolphins and Whales that are migratory to Sri
Lanka swimming (If you are travelling between March-
July). Optional excursion: Go on fishing!
Day 7
Proceed to Pasikudah after a lovely breakfast from
the hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax by
the beach.
Day 8
At leisure
Day 9
Check out from the hotel and proceed to the surfers’
paradise- ArugamBAY! The waves are at their best
during the months of June to August, however, apart
from November- January the rest of the year is
perfect to relax in Arugambay.
Day 10
Get into your surf-board and enjoy the waves or
relax at the beach!
Day 11
Take a safari trip to Kumana national park which is
much quitter section of Yala national park to
experience the bird-watching paradise of the
country.
Day 12
Proceed to Galle after having a lovely breakfast
from the hotel. Rest of the day is free to relax.
Day 13
Relax by the beach and later you can visit the Galle
Dutch Fort. Wander around the Dutch styled streets
with cozy restaurants, cafes, local shops and old
buildings and houses from the heritage times. Enjoy
a cold beer with delicious food while overlooking
sea views.
Day 14
Check out from the hotel and transfer to Colombo.
Depending on the time of your flight, you will be
driven to the airport three hours in advance.
